Since the late 12th century, Château d'Aiguilhe has perched on one of the highest points in the Grand Saint-Emilion region. From a stronghold during the 100 Years' War, to a fortified farm and then a quality wine estate, this château has a thousand stories to tell.
This tour combines history with an understanding of the terroir, enabling visitors to grasp what makes a wine unique. Combined with a tour of the circular vat room and the 17th-century barrel cellar with its remarkable framework, this comprehensive tour concludes with a tasting of two Château d'Aiguilhe wines in the tasting room-boutique.
