Family-friendly visit
In the Middle Ages, everything led us to believe that the Aiguilhe seigneury was vast, with several large fiefs. Located on the frontier between areas occupied by the French and English during the Hundred Years' War, the château had a major strategic role to play. Today, the estate covers 140 hectares, including 90 planted with vines. The vineyards are located exclusively on the plateau, where they benefit from high-quality soil and the expertise of our winemaking team, ideal for growing vines.
Combining the estate's history and knowledge of the terroir, this tour offers visitors the opportunity to discover what makes our wine so unique. This comprehensive package includes a visit to the circular vat room and barrel cellar featuring exposed beams, followed by a tasting of two Château d’Aiguilhe wines.
Tours are tailored to the interests and level of knowledge of the participants and are also suitable for children, who will be given an activity booklet and grape juice or grapes to taste.
